Welcome to the CoWork Commons!

2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic created a shift in working life across the country. Many employees started working from home like never before. As it becomes safer to transition back to in-person work life, the University of Iowa hopes to remain innovative and forward-thinking in how faculty and staff work, meet, and collaborate while using University spaces.

The new CoWork Commons was created as a gathering place for faculty and staff who will continue working in a hybrid or remote setting. Employees are welcome to collaborate or work independently in the common space. They can also reserve a conference room for private meetings. Feedback will be collected to continue improving the space for future uses.

All faculty and staff are welcome and encouraged to use the space. Iowa One cards will be required for access.
